Understanding and applying the School Improvement Tool (2-day program)*
For principals, school leaders, regional and corporate staff.
The program will develop participants’ understanding of the school review process and skills required for review conversations and report writing. It will provide a deep understanding of the 9 domains of the SIT and how the tool is used in school reviews.
*Prerequisite training for new principal, peer reviewers. Principal, peer reviewers need to participate on a review team at least once every 3 years or recomplete the 2-day SIT program to retain eligibility as a peer reviewer.
For principals who have previously completed the 2-day SIT program.
The course provides information about the SIT and is an opportunity to practise key reviewer skills including writing findings and improvement strategies. A range of resources are also available to download and use while participating as a peer reviewer.
