Understanding and applying the School Improvement Tool (2-day program)*
For principals, school leaders, regional and corporate staff.
The program will develop participants’ understanding of the school review process and skills required for review conversations and report writing. It will provide a deep understanding of the 9 domains of the SIT and how the tool is used in school reviews.
*Prerequisite training for new principal, peer reviewers.

For principals who have previously completed the 2-day NSIT program and did not complete the NSIT to SIT conversion training. These principals must complete this course to be eligible to become a peer reviewer.
Principals who have completed a SIT program are eligible to nominate as a peer reviewer and are encouraged to use this course to refresh their knowledge and skills.
The course provides information about the SIT and is an opportunity to practise key reviewer skills including writing findings and improvement strategies. A range of resources are also available to download and use while participating as a peer reviewer.
