Understanding and applying the School Improvement Tool (2-day program)*

2-day program

For principals, school leaders and regional and corporate staff.

The program is designed to develop a deep understanding of the school review process, the 9 domains of the new SIT and how the tool is used in school reviews.

The program will develop participants’ understanding of review protocols and skills required for review conversations and report writing.

*Prerequisite training for principal peer reviewers.


National School Improvement Tool to School Improvement Tool conversion

3-hour program

For principals who have previously completed the 2-day program and are interested in nominating as a peer reviewer.

This 3-hour online National School Improvement Tool (NSIT) to SIT conversion session provides an update to NSIT-trained peers in the SIT and revitalised approach to report writing.

*Principals who are currently trained peer reviewers are required to attend this session in order to retain their eligibility as a peer reviewer.
